Yoga Nidra or guided yogic sleep is a state of consciousness between waking and sleeping where one can receive from the unconscious and subconscious mind. Benefits of Yoga Nidra include relaxation, deeper inner awareness, healing, creativity, integration, joy, and peace. It is said that one hour of Yoga Nidra is as restful as 4 hours of regular sleep. The addition of Gong sound energy enhances and deepens the Yoga Nidra experience.
No prior experience is needed, as you rest comfortably you’ll be guided through the stages of Yoga Nidra while immersed in the transformative sound energy of the Gongs. Please bring whatever you need to be comfortable (mat, blanket, pillow, etc.) for lying or sitting on the floor for about an hour.
